Willie McKenzie is a serial entrepreneur, CEO, investor, speaker, husband, father, hunter, farmer, and recovering addict. He is currently the CEO of Left Coast Holdings, a vertically integrated cannabis company based in Michigan, that he co-founded in 2019. He’s built two successful companies in the commercial multifamily construction industry in California, one of which he still owns as a passive investment.

Willie has been celebrated by the media for his progressive stance on happiness in the workplace and for welcoming the union into his ranks, becoming the first and only unionized cannabis company in the state of Michigan. He speaks regularly at cannabis industry events and conferences, often about his experience transitioning from the legacy market to the regulated market, as well as modernizing retail.
